What you need to know for your Hall of Fame Open experience

We are excited to welcome you to the historic grounds of the International Tennis Hall of Fame to watch exciting professional tennis!

Here are a few things you need to know to prepare for your time at the 2021 Hall of Fame Open:

Following the State of Rhode Island’s policy, those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask. A mask is required for those who are not fully vaccinated. Temperature screenings may also be required.

Parking in Newport is limited. For convenient and inexpensive parking, we strongly recommend parking at the Gateway Transportation Center and utilizing the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) trolley.

Park at the Gateway Transportation Center, 23 America’s Cup Avenue, Newport, RI.

Take RIPTA trolley #67, which leaves every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends.

The trolley cost is $2 per person, each way, cash only, exact change required. When you board the trolley, ask the driver for a receipt. Later, when you go to exit the parking lot, present this receipt and your parking lot ticket to the parking attendant and you will pay just $2 for all day parking.

Bike to the Hall of Fame Open! Bike racks will be located at 194 Bellevue Avenue for fans who wish to bike to the event.

This year, the Hall of Fame Open will have a one-way traffic flow meaning there will be ONE entrance located at 194 Bellevue Avenue and ONE exit located on Memorial Boulevard. Please refer to the map.

If you plan on returning to the same session, be sure to receive a hand stamp at the exit for re-entry along Bellevue Avenue.

On-site dining for 2021 will include one walk-up concessions stand and in-seat food ordering via the TennisONE Mobile App, the official app of the Hall of Fame Open.

The TennisONE Mobile App offers in-seat food ordering and delivery with a wide menu of food and beverages, including alcohol. With only one concession stand this year, in-seat ordering is highly recommended.

With the help of our official sustainability partner, 11th Hour Racing, the Hall of Fame Open is implementing strategies to enhance the tournament's environmental sustainability and educate and encourage fans to make personal behavioral changes to protect and restore ocean health.
