Americans Alycia Parks, Hailey Baptiste, Jenson Brooksby and Christopher Eubanks highlight the women’s and men’s player field entries for the Hall of Fame Open, coming July 6-13 on the grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF). Both ATP Challenger and WTA 125 fields feature names with significant success at major tournaments, and familiar faces for local fans and tennis enthusiasts alike.

“This year's Hall of Fame Open boasts an exceptional player field, featuring Grand Slam contenders, title winners so far this year and stars on the rise,” said Tournament Director Brewer Rowe. “Fans can watch double the tennis on our grass courts while still enjoying all of the unique amenities that make the Hall of Fame Open one of the most intimate environments on tour.”

Women's professional tennis returns to Newport for the first time since 1990. Both men’s and women’s draws will be awarded prize money of $200,000. This is a direct result of the ITHF’s decision to increase the required WTA purse to be equal to the required ATP purse, in support of gender pay equity.

The debut WTA 125 field features seven players currently ranked in the top 100, including four Americans. Parks reached the third round of the Australian Open in 2024, and Baptiste posted her best appearance at a major with a round of 16 appearances this month at Roland-Garros.

World No. 43 Tatjana Maria of Germany, who claimed the WTA 500 title at London’s Queens Club over the weekend, is one of several accomplished grass resumés in the women’s field. Maria and Heather Watson of the U.K. reached the semifinals and fourth round of Wimbledon in 2022.

The ATP Challenger field features five of the eight quarterfinalists from the 2024 Hall of Fame Open and numerous fan favorites. Top American talent includes 2025 Houston champion Brooksby, who will return to Newport for the first time since his 2021 final appearance. 2023 Wimbledon quarterfinalist Eubanks joins Aleksandar Kovacevic, Ethan Quinn, Mackie McDonald, Brandon Holt and Eliot Spizzirri in the top 10 entries.

Rinky Hijikata, the 2023 Australian Open men’s doubles champion, will make his third consecutive appearance in Newport. Five-time ATP Tour champion and 2023 Hall of Fame Open champion Adrian Mannarino is slated to return for the 12th time in his career on tour.

American Iva Jovic and Australian Tristan Schoolkate, captured the WTA 125 and ATP Challenger titles, respectively, on grass at Ilkley (U.K.) over the weekend. The title is the first for Jovic at the WTA 125 level, with Schoolkate capturing his second ATP Challenger crown so far in 2025.

Additional men’s and women’s wildcards will be announced in the coming weeks. The full singles main draw, qualifying draw and doubles draw when complete can be viewed online at halloffameopen.com.
